Special provisions for strategic projects will be added to the investment law

Moldova is preparing a broad overhaul of its Investment Law that would introduce a special regime for strategic projects, faster permitting and a more predictable framework for investors. The draft also expands legal protections, adds new digital and transparency tools, and could unlock targeted state support under conditions that are still being discussed.
