According to the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA), a series of working meetings held in collaboration with Moldova Fruct, the Association of Fruit Producers and Exporters, addressed issues related to ensuring that fruit meets pre-sale requirements, the importance of laboratory testing, and the need to maintain accurate documentation regarding the phytosanitary treatments applied. During the discussions, the importance of strengthening cooperation between government authorities and representatives of the horticultural sector was emphasized to ensure compliance with food safety requirements and standards applicable to products intended for the domestic market and for export.
