Annual inflation (over the last 12 months) continues to decrease in Moldova and in April 2024 reached 3.51% against 3.94% a month earlier.
The National Bureau of Statistics reported this, noting that in April last year annual inflation in Moldova recahed 18.1%. At the same time, in April 2024, compared to April last year, the average consumer prices for food products increased by 3.79%, for non-food products - increased by 7.02%, and for services rendered to the population - decreased by 2.58%. It should be noted that the annual inflation rate in Moldova has been constantly decreasing since November 2022, and in January 2024 it increased again, amounting to 4.55% against 4.2% in December 2023.
