
Moldova's revenues from privatization of state property in 2007-2023 amounted to about 2.9 billion lei.
Such data are presented by the Public Property Agency on its new website. As it is noted, during the mentioned period, revenues from the sale of 248 state-owned blocks of shares in commercial companies amounted to 1 billion 746 million 547 thousand 821 lei. Revenues from the privatization of 46 state-owned enterprises amounted to 592 million 745 thousand lei. Another 147 million 253.6 thousand lei came from the privatization of 70 property objects, and 386 million 518 thousand lei from the privatization of 8 land plots with a total area of 13.4727 hectares. As of the end of 2023, the Public Property Agency administered 81 operating enterprises with state capital, with the total amount of the authorized capital of 34 million 342 thousand 394 lei. It also administers 49 enterprises in insolvency, with a total authorized capital of 368 million 724 thousand 084 lei. It is noted that in 2023, nine companies with state capital paid dividends totaling 216 million 848.06 thousand lei, while another nine companies with state capital used their profits to cover losses for previous years.
