The second high-level forum Moldova - Romania: Capital Bridges will be held in Bucharest on March 27.

The event is dedicated to the promotion of capital market opportunities in the two countries and is organized by the Bucharest Stock Exchange jointly with WOOD&Co, Raiffeisen Bank International, EBA, AmCham and maib. The forum will be held in a hybrid format with physical participation and online speeches. The event aims to stimulate economic cooperation and capital market integration between Moldova and Romania in the context of Moldova's EU accession negotiations. The forum will bring together key stakeholders to discuss macroeconomic reforms, investment opportunities and progress in Moldova's banking sector, creating conditions for strengthening bilateral economic relations. Prime Ministers of the two countries Dorin Recean and Marcel Ciolacu, Governor of the National Bank of Moldova Anca Dragu, Governor of the National Bank of Romania Mugur Isarescu, President of the Bucharest Stock Exchange Radu Hanga, President of the EBRD Odile Renaud-Basso are scheduled to speak at the opening of the Moldova - Romania: Capital Bridges Forum. The panel "Economy, Politics and Reforms" will bring together representatives of international financial institutions and leading Moldovan politicians to discuss the progress and prospects of the country's economy in the context of Moldova's EU accession negotiations. Within the panel "Investment Opportunities: Business Environment Perspective", leading local and international companies from Moldova will discuss business challenges and opportunities. Within the panel "Banking Sector: Development Prospects", representatives of local and international banks will discuss the prospects of the key sector of the economy. The event will be attended by government officials and senior decision makers from Moldova and Romania; academic experts and economic analysts specializing in regional economic development; representatives of the investment community and financial experts from Romania and other EU countries; key industry leaders and stakeholders from relevant sectors.
