
During 9 months of 2023, the net profit of non-bank credit institutions of Moldova amounted to almost 918.1 million lei, an increase of 18.6% compared to the same period last year (774.3 million lei).
According to the National Bank of Moldova, in January-September 2023, the largest profits were received by Microinvest - 253.1 million lei and Easy Credit - about 182 million lei, accounting for more than 47% of the total net profit of non-bank credit institutions. At the same time, Microinvest's profit increased compared to 9 months 2022 by 28.2%, and Easy Credit's profit decreased by 1.3%. Next in terms of profitability are Sebo Credit (83.4 million lei), Express Leasing & Microcredit (47.5 million lei), Credit Rapid – 39.7 million lei, Iute Credit (about 38 million lei), Mikro Kapital Company – 23.8 million lei, Aventus Finance – 23.5 million lei, etc. Herewith, more than 30 companies reported losses. The biggest losses in 9 months of last year were registered at Super Credit (-15.9 million lei), Credit Nobil (- 10.7 million lei) and Univers Finance (- 2.6 million lei). The total assets of non-bank credit institutions of Moldova at the end of September 2023 amounted to 14 billion 736 million lei, which is 7% more than in the same period last year (3 billion 733.3 million lei). The Microinvest company has the largest assets - 5 billion 168.1 million lei, while, in comparison with the same period in 2022, its asset size increased by 18.3%. In terms of assets, the top 3 leaders are also Easy Credit - 1 billion 214.6 million lei and Iute Credit - 1 billion 077.2 million lei. At the end of September 2023, the equity capital of operating non-bank credit institutions amounted to 5 billion 094.6 million lei, an increase of 10% compared to the same period in 2022 (4 billion 621.8 million lei). The total loan portfolio of non-bank credit organizations of Moldova at the end of September 2023 amounted to 13 billion 696.5 million lei, which is 6.4% more than in the same period last year (12 billion 868.8 million lei). Meanwhile, in 9 months of 2023, non-bank credit institutions received bank loans and borrowings, including financial leasing, in the amount of 8 billion 793.1 million lei, which is 6.7% more than in the same period last year (8 billion 233.4 million lei). More than 45% of this amount was received by Microinvest (4.07 billion lei). Market participants allocated 1 billion 662.8 million lei to pay provisions for the funds received (in the same period of 2022 - 1 billion 623.4 million lei).
