The 2nd Economic Forum “Investment, Innovation, European Integration” will be held in Chisinau on February 22-23.
It is planned that the opening will be attended by Chairman of the Parliament Igor Grosu, Prime Minister Dorin Recean, Romanian Ambassador to Moldova Cristian Leon Turcanu, State Secretary of the Romanian Government Department for Relations with Moldova Adrian Dupu, General Director of the Investment Agency of Moldova Natalia Bejan and others. The event will be attended by representatives of the governments of Moldova and Romania, the diplomatic corps, experts, professionals and opinion leaders in the business and public sphere, entrepreneurs from Moldova, Romania, Italy, Poland, Germany and other countries. The organizer of the Economic Forum is the business club of the International Business Community, created under the patronage of the Royal House of Romania, in partnership with the Investment Agency of Moldova, StarNet, Digital Park, and the Romanian Government Department for Relations with Moldova. The President of the Business Club of the International Business Society, Claudiu Padurean, noted that the Chisinau Economic Forum was inspired and organized with the idea of providing a communication platform to all interested. “The purpose of this meeting is to promote constructive dialogue and exchange of ideas, to promote the development of viable, effective and sustainable partnerships, with the idea of promoting innovation and progress,” said Claudiu Padurean. During the forum there will be many discussion panels. Among the topics that will be discussed at the Economic Forum in Chisinau: research and cutting-edge solutions for the development of smart cities, main trends and innovations in the field of information technology, strategies for the development of rural areas and the food industry, top projects and technologies in construction and renewable energy, attraction and effective use of European non-repayable funding for development, etc. According to the agenda, on February 22 there will be panel discussions “Moldova – a candidate country for accession to the European Union”, “Developing partnerships and deepening ties between the business environment in the modern economic context” and “The role of higher education in stimulating innovation and technological development”. On February 23, the forum will continue with discussions on the topics “Smart City: Innovations and Solutions for the Development of Smart Cities”, “Trends and Innovations in Information Technology”, “Intellectual Integrated Community Development” and “Strategies and Opportunities for Promoting the Development of Rural Areas and the Agri-Food Industry”.
