
Moldovagaz tops the list of the 10 companies in Moldova with the highest revenues in 2022 - SEE Top 100.
According to the annual SEE Top 100 ranking prepared by SeeNews, Moldovagaz's revenues in 2022 amounted to 812.36 million euros (2.5 times more than in 2021). The Top 10 most profitable companies in Moldova in 2022 also included: oil product importers Lukoil-Moldova - 580.35 million euros (+98%) and Rompetrol Moldova - 491.96 million euros (up 2.5 times); Energocom - 429.3 million euros (up 4 times); trading company Moldretail Group - 403.6 million euros (+37.4%); Floarea Soarelui - 381.2 million euros (up 3.8 times); Premier Energy Company - 364.5 million euros (+73%); Loteria Nationala a Moldovei - 349 million euros (+59.3%); Agrofloris-Nord - 264.8 million euros (-12%); Petrom Moldova - 263.5 million euros (2.6 times growth). The highest net profit in 2022 among the 10 most profitable companies in the country were Floarea Soarelui - 32.88 million euros (against 7.27 a year earlier), Premier Energy - 18.62 million euros (1.99 million euros) and Moldretail Group - 15.19 million euros (13.25 million euros). Two companies from the list suffered losses: Moldovagaz - 15.86 million euros (against losses of 9.12 million euros a year earlier) and Petrom Moldova - 3.39 million euros (against losses of 0.21 million euros in 2021). The other companies registered net profits as follows: Loteria Nationala a Moldovei - 8.35 million euros (5.04 million euros), Energocom - 6.99 million euros (vs. 0.42 million euros), Lukoil-Moldova - 2.59 million euros (2.88 million euros), Agrofloris-Nord - 2.58 million euros (its losses amounted to 8.56 million euros in 2021) and Rompetrol Moldova - 1.09 million euros (0.46 million euros). It is worth noting that none of the Moldovan companies made it into the top 100 largest companies in Southeast Europe in terms of revenue. The rating includes companies with revenues ranging from 975.6 million to 13.3 billion euros.
