The Ministry of Finance of Moldova announced the start of payments of indexed amounts to Banca de Economii depositors who submitted applications before April 2023.
According to the financial authority, therefore, persons born before 1991 inclusive, who did not receive indexed deposits related to the first stage and / or second stage of indexation in previous years, can take their money at any Posta Moldovei representative office upon presentation of certifying the identity of the documents. Heirs must additionally submit a death certificate and a notarized copy of the certificate of inheritance. The law on the state budget for the current year provides for 20 million lei for the payment of indexed deposits to the depositors of the Banca de Economii. At the first stage, the indexation of household deposits is carried out in the ratio of 1 ruble to 1 lei for the first thousand rubles for all accounts.
