In Moldova, the activities of businesses and investors will be facilitated through the introduction of universal technological platforms eKYC and eNotary.

This was announced by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, noting that the joint project "Creation of universal technology platforms eKYC and eNotary" was launched during the event, which was also attended by the Secretary of State of the department Veronica Arpintin. In this regard, a memorandum of understanding was also signed between the Secretariat of the Economic Council under the Prime Minister and the E-Government Agency. The eKYC universal technological platform allows remote identification of customers, which is a very important aspect for the business environment, as well as for the public sector, where services migrate online, and when they are provided, remote identification of a person is required. Also, an electronic notary or eNotary is indispensable for investors at home and abroad, helping to reduce costs and time spent on transactions that can be carried out online. By creating universal technology platforms eKYC and eNotary in our country, investors, including from the diaspora, will be able to open a business in Moldova and manage it online, from anywhere in the world. The project will be implemented by the e-Government Agency with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the UK Government Good Governance Fund.// 21.03.2023 — InfoMarket
