In 2021, revenues from privatization and denationalization of state property in Moldova amounted to 146.9 million lei, which is 2.5 times less than in the previous year.
At the same time, privatization revenues in 2021 were 4.7 times less than the amount approved in the state budget (700 million lei). According to the Public Property Agency, the total amount of income from the denationalization of public property came from: privatization of objects subject to privatization (single property complexes, real estate, property complexes) - 134.06 million lei; sales of land plots adjacent to private property - 4.19 million lei; compensation for the concession of assets and land plots - 8.65 million lei (of which 3.1 million lei - compensation established in accordance with the concession agreement for assets managed by the State Enterprise "Aeroportul Internaţional Chişinău" and the adjacent land plot, and 5, 48 million lei - compensation established in accordance with the public-private partnership agreement on the effectiveness of the activities of the State Enterprise "Gările și Stațiile Auto"). Last year, the Public Property Agency held two rounds of auctions on the regulated market, putting up for sale through the Stock Exchange 36 objects of public property, as a result of which only 1 state block of Aqua-Prut shares was sold (for 4.7 million lei). In addition, according to the results of the traditional auction, 5 objects were sold (4 objects of state property and 1 object of real estate) - for 52.2 million lei. Last year, 8 contracts for the sale of objects subject to privatization were also concluded, of which 5 contracts for the sale of objects were awarded at the auction on December 16, 2020, as well as 5 contracts for the sale of land plots adjacent to private property. In 2021, the Public Property Agency reportedly monitored 45 public-private partnership and concession agreements registered in the Public Property Register and 12 state public property purchase and sale agreements privatized at tenders, and agreed on feasibility studies for 6 projects Public private partnership. Last year, the expenses of the Public Property Agency related to the denationalization of public property amounted to 57.4 thousand lei, they are aimed at paying for assessment services, cadastral services, media services and publication of messages.
