Moldovan civil society organizations can receive new grants for projects to develop education, culture, health, environment and sports on the two banks of the Dniester
This was reported by the EU Eastern Neighborhood portal, noting that, in particular, the EU Confidence Building Measures Program (EU-CBM V), which finances the EU and implements UNDP in Moldova, announced the launch of a new call for project proposals under the Small Grants Program 2022 for civil society organizations, associations and non-governmental organizations. Interested organizations can submit their applications and project proposals, considering that all activities must take place between March 2022 and May 2023. The maximum amount that applicants can request under the Small Grants Program is 20,000 euros. Additional funds are encouraged as own or partner contributions. This call is open to any proposals for building confidence that meet the needs of local communities, to be implemented through partnerships, by organizations from both banks of the Nistru River. Recommended thematic areas of action include, but are not limited to, the following areas: health and social protection, culture, environment, education, sports and community development. Project proposals should be aimed at achieving concrete results in solving common problems through the cooperation of organizations from both banks of the Dniester. Only applications that promote dialogue and cooperation between communities from both banks of the Dniester will be considered, which is a key requirement for this competition. It will be considered an advantage if one of the social infrastructure projects is used, repaired or reconstructed during the previous stages of the program. The deadline for applications is 25 February 2022 and can be sent to the following email addresses: angela.frunze@undp.org и vladimir.paraschiv@undp.org // 01.02.2022 — InfoMarket
