The 2022-budget of the NCFM was approved with a deficit of 5.4 million lei.
This is provided for by the Decree on the 2022-budget of the National Commission for the Financial Market (NCFM), published on January 28 in Monitorul Oficial (the Official Journal of Moldova). According to the document, in 2022 the income of the Commission is planned at the level of 53 million lei, which is 17.8% more than the approved amount for 2021 (45 million lei). The expenses of the NCFM in 2022 will amount to 58.4 million lei or 1.5% more than the approved amount for the previous year (57.5 million lei). The budget deficit of the NCFM will amount to 5.4 million lei this year (2.3 times less than the approved for 2021 - 12.5 million lei), it will be covered from the balance of accumulated funds. The NCFM also approved the amount of fees and payments for 2022. It is worth noting that the approval of these documents became possible after the parliament appointed three persons to senior positions in the NCFM, which made it possible to make the Management Board of the Commission active. Vitalie Lemne and Adrian Georghita were appointed vice-chairmen, and Cornelia Cozlovschi became the chairperson of the NCFM. In the near future, it is necessary to appoint 2 more members of the Management Board of the NCFM. It should be reminded that the parliament revoked the previous Management Board of the NCFM on September 9 last year, while acknowledging its activity as ineffective. // 28.01.2022 - InfoMarket
