The National Bureau of Statistics reported this, noting that in January last year the monthly inflation was 0.46%, and the annual inflation (for the last 12 months) - 0.22%. According to the NBM, consumer prices in January 2022 increased by an average of 2.77% compared to the previous month, against the backdrop of rising prices for food products - by 3.65%, for non-food products - by 1.79%, as well as an increase in tariffs for services provided to the population by 2.96%. According to official statistics, in particular, in January 2022, compared to the previous month, prices for the following food products increased: vegetables - by 16.9% (including cabbage - by 40.3%, cucumbers - by 26 .3%, root vegetables - by 16.6%, tomatoes - by 13.6%, dry onions - by 10.8%, fresh mushrooms - by 5.1%, garlic - by 2.6%), fresh fruits - by 7.2% (including fresh grapes - by 12.5%, stone fruits - by 11.8%, exotic fruits - by 8.5%, citrus fruits - by 2.1%), potatoes - by 6 .5%, breadcrumbs and pretzels - by 3.8%, wheat and corn flour - by 3.5% and 2.7%, respectively, cookies and gingerbread - by 3%, eggs - by 2.7%, sugar - by 2%, cereals - by 1.9%, bread made from wheat flour - by 1.7%, meat, meat semi-finished products and canned meat - by 1.6% (including beef - by 4%, pork - by 2 .5%, poultry meat - by 1.2%). As far as non-food products are concerned, in January 2022, compared to the previous month, the prices increased more significantly: fuel - by 7.7% (including diesel fuel - by 9.1%, gasoline - by 7.3%), coal - by 6.7%, briquettes and biomass pellets - by 5.2%, plants and flowers - by 3.1%, firewood - by 3%, materials for the maintenance and repair of housing - by 2.3%, household appliances of high power - by 2.1%, cigarettes - by 1.9%. At the same time, in the same period, the price of liquefied gas in cylinders fell a little - by 1.6%.
