During the meeting of the Moldova-EU Subcommittee on Economy, Social and Sectoral Issues, Cluster II, held in Chisinau, the main achievements in fulfilling the obligations arising from the Association Agreement of the Republic of Moldova were considered; the problems and the evolution of policies in the field of industry and entrepreneurship, mining and raw materials, tourism, corporate law and corporate governance, consumer protection, as well as the peculiarities of the tax policy of Moldova were presented. The Moldovan delegation was headed by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy Vadim Gumene, and the EU delegation was headed by Daniela Tramacere - the head of the department for economic problems and global health in the General Directorate for Global Agenda and Multilateral Relations. According to the Ministry of Economy, the European Commission highly appreciated the actions taken by Moldova last year. At the same time, the parties agreed on a new set of goals and actions to be implemented next year for each sector.
