The Ministry of Finance reported this, specifying that, at the same time, the target for the budget deficit for 2021 was previously set at 6.5% of GDP. These and other data on the execution of the national public budget of Moldova in January-June of this year are contained in the government-approved semi-annual report on the execution of the national public budget and its components for 2021 to be submitted to parliament. According to the document, the revenues of the national public budget of Moldova in the first 6 months of this year amounted to 34 billion 933.2 million lei, up 5.9 billion lei, or 20.3%, relative to the same period last year. At the same time, the income collected by the State Tax Service amounted to 22 billion 571.8 million lei, exceeding by about 3.3 billion lei, or by 17% the indicators of the same period last year. Receipts accumulated by the Customs Service in January-June of this year reached 12 billion 594.2 million lei, which is 2.7 billion lei, or 27% more, compared to the same period in 2020. Expenditures of the national public budget in H1 2021 amounted to 38 billion. 380 million lei, up 5.9 billion lei, or 18.1%, compared to the same period of the previous year.
