Young people from Moldova can receive grants to support social initiatives.
The Contact Center within the framework of the EU4Youth project - Harnessing the Potential of Young Social Entrepreneurs in Moldova and Ukraine (EUnlocking) with the financial support of the EU has announced a call for grant proposals for young social entrepreneurs in Moldova. Young people aged 18 to 35 years old who have innovative models or ideas for introducing social services with significant social or environmental impact can participate in the grant competition. The goal of the program is to strengthen the potential of young social entrepreneurs in Moldova through coaching, mentoring and learning by doing, as well as providing seed funding for youth in order to launch their socio-entrepreneurial innovation projects that contribute to the creation of additional employment opportunities, especially for low-income and vulnerable youth and young women. Grants are provided in the amount of 190 thousand to 210 thousand lei, they will be allocated in two tranches (90% and 10%). The total budget of the grant program for Moldova is 1.05 million lei. Concept notes for participation in the grant program are accepted until October 8th. The initial planned duration of projects participating in the grant program should not exceed 6 months.
