Four state property objects were sold for 52.2 million lei at an auction.
As reported by the Public Property Agency (APP), following the auction held the day before, 4 property complexes were sold under the hammer, all of them located in Chisinau municipality. Their aggregate initial cost was 16.16 million lei, but during the auction it more than tripled - up to 52.2 million lei. Thus, the property complex (buildings and an adjacent building plot with an area of 0.3984 hectares) located at 111a Grenoble Street was sold for 39 million lei (6.5 times more than the initial cost of 6 million lei). The APP notes that 11 buyers applied for this object. In order to avoid falsification, all participants filled out declarations of personal responsibility regarding the absence of conflicts of interest and affiliation with each other. As a result of competition, the cost of this property has grown many times over. The remaining 3 properties were sold at 30% more expensive than the original cost. Thus, a complex of property located in Codru (a building of 80.6 square meters and a plot for construction of 0.5082 ha) was sold for 7.15 million lei (the initial price was 5.5 million lei); a property complex in Vatra (two buildings of 745.7 square meters and 253.1 square meters and a plot for construction of 0.8956 hectares) - for 5.85 million lei (starting price - 4.5 million lei); real estate in Sprincenoaia street (a plot for construction with an area of 0.0087 hectares) - for 208 thousand lei (starting price - 160 thousand lei). The winners of the auction within 20 days from the date of signing the protocol on the results of the auction must pay the entire cost of the privatized objects to the state budget. Additionally, they must pay a private tax to the budget totaling 1% of the amount of the acquired state property (0.52 million lei). 7 days after the payment, the APP will conclude purchase and sale agreements with the new owners. Let us remind you that “under the hammer” and “for a fall” auctions were held on June 30 within the framework of the “summer” round of privatization held by the Public Property Agency from June 11 to July 23. In particular, 17 complexes and real estate objects and the state's share in the authorized capital of the Chisinau IT-Cafe were put up for sale during an "under the hammer" auction, 3 more objects were offered for sale within a "for a fall" auction. In addition, from 12 to 23 July, the Stock Exchange of Moldova will hold "under the hammer" auctions for the sale of state shares in 14 joint-stock companies, the state's share in which ranges from 30.083% to 99.637%. The total initial cost of the objects is almost 1.3 billion lei. As InfoMarket reported earlier, revenues from privatization in 2021 are planned at the level of 700 million lei. For comparison, in 2020, privatization revenues amounted to 372.17 million lei, or almost twice as much as in the previous year (191.7 million lei). // 01.07.2021 – InfoMarket
