The deadline for submitting applications for participation in the exchange of experience of Moldovan winemakers with companies from Romania and Bulgaria has been extended until June 23.

The Investment Agency invites representatives of the Moldovan wine industry to take part in a free exchange of experience with winemakers from Bulgaria and Romania within the framework of study visits, which will take place from 4 to 7 July and, respectively, from 9 to 12 July. According to the Agency, applications for participation in the experience exchange program are accepted until June 23, and the selection results will be announced on June 25. The trips are organized under the WINET program. To participate, companies must have: membership on the www.winet.wine platform and a Cooperation Agreement with the Investment Agency; confirmation of the export of wine products for the last 2 years (the requirement regarding entities’ available export to the Romanian or Bulgarian markets is excluded from the conditions of participation); personal responsibility statement; specialists approved for the trip with experience and necessary competencies in the field of technology and innovation, business administration, marketing and promotion. As part of the business mission, Moldovan winemakers will be able to study the experience of their colleagues and the technological processes used at wineries in Romania and Bulgaria. The delegation will include 10 representatives of wineries, with one Applicant Company being allowed to apply for only one of the experience exchange programs. Let us recall that WINET (Trade and Innovation in the Wine Industry) is a cross-border project in the Black Sea basin region, in which Moldova is a leading partner and a leading executor. WINET is part of the Black Sea Basin Program and is included in the EU's CBC policy under the European Neighborhood Instrument. More than 170 companies, small and medium enterprises, representatives of the academic and scientific community, local, regional and national authorities, as well as interest groups, NGOs and support organizations from Moldova, Bulgaria and Romania are registered on the www.winet.wine platform. // 21.06.2021 – InfoMarket
