
The revenues of the state budget of Moldova in January-May 2021 amounted to 17 billion 424 million lei, which is 3 billion 377.1 million lei (24%) more than in the same period of 2020.
As InfoMarket agency was informed in the Ministry of Finance, at the same time, the expenditures of the state budget of Moldova for 5 months this year amounted to 21 billion 430.5 million lei, an increase in comparison with the same period of the previous year, by 3 billion 274.9 million lei (+ 18%). As a result, the deficit of the state budget of Moldova in January-May 2021 amounted to 4 billion 006.5 million lei against 4 billion 108.7 million lei a year earlier (-2.5%). According to the Ministry of Finance, in general, in the structure of income, receipts from taxes and duties for 5 months this year amounted to 16 billion 412.4 million lei (a year earlier - 13 billion 081.4 million), receipts from grants - 205.8 million lei (a year earlier - 88.9 million lei). According to the Ministry of Finance, the customs service traditionally brought the largest amounts of revenue to the treasury. In particular, the incomes administered by the CS in January-May 2021 amounted to 10 billion 200.9 million lei, an increase of 2 billion 034.1 million lei (+ 24.9%), compared to the same period in 2020. Herewith, incomes administered by the State Tax Service for 5 months this year amounted to 7 billion 737.5 million lei, which is 1 billion 509.8 million lei (24.2%) more than in the same period last year. Revenues from projects financed from external sources in January-May 2021 amounted to 149.5 million lei against 91.8 million lei in the same period a year earlier (+ 62.9%). Other incomes amounted to 470.7 million lei, which is lower than the indicators of the same period of the previous year by 175.1 million lei (-27.1%). Refund by the Ministry of Finance of VAT and excise taxes for 5 months of 2021 amounted to 1 billion 134.6 million lei, which is 49.4 million lei (4.6%) more than in the same period a year earlier.// 30.06.2021 — InfoMarket
