Moldova’s cities to receive grants within the framework of the new phase of the project “Mayors for Economic Growth” in the Eastern Partnership launched by the EU and UNDP.

According to the "EU Neighborhood" portal, in particular, the UN Development Program has launched a new stage of the EU-funded mechanism "Mayors for Economic Growth" (M4EG) (2021-2024). This mechanism will support the authorities of small towns in the EaP countries in their search for innovative ways of sustainable development. Through the project, cities will gain access to funding to help them recover from the pandemic. The cities will also be helped to develop new plans for local economic development, thanks to which they will be able to participate in funding competitions totaling 14 million euros. Learning materials on innovative local development will soon be available to all members of the M4EG network at the new Urban Learning Center. // 23.06.2021 – InfoMarket
