The parliamentary faction Platform DA believes that there are many dubious and unjustified expenditures in the draft state budget of Moldova for 2021, and proposes to revise them and channel this money for other purposes.
As stated at a briefing on Friday, the deputies from Platform DA, in particular, in their opinion, the dubious expenses subject to revision relate to: an increase in the expenses of the Ministry of Internal Affairs by 226 million lei, expenses of the Ministry of Justice - by 204 million lei, an increase in expenses for the SIB - by 45 million lei, increase in expenses for the State Security Service - by 30 million lei, expenses for the Prosecutor General's Office - by 17 million lei, expenses for the State Chancellery - by 26 million lei, allocation of more than 67 million lei for the National Arena, funds for the construction of embassies in Belarus and Turkey, as well as consulates in Odessa - 11 million lei, provision of 11 million lei for the repair of ships, allocation of over 2.4 billion lei for the Road Repair Program, provision of the next tranche for the payment of funds within the framework of compensation for theft of a billion - 867 million lei. The DA platform believes that these, as well as other unjustified expenses, can be revised by redistributing state funds for: allocation of one-time allowances for pensioners with pensions below 3000 lei - 580 million lei for the winter holidays; an increase in the Agricultural Development Fund in order to pay compensation to farmers affected by drought - from 1.1 billion to 1.9 billion lei; increasing the Regional Development Fund from 220 million to 500 million lei; expansion of the Diaspora program (Diaspora Acasă Reușește) - from 5 million to 40 million lei; increasing the Fund to Support the Population by 6 million lei; clarification in Appendix No. 6 "Capital investments of central public authorities" of the estimated cost of the implementation of capital investment projects; inclusion of the new application "Subsidies"; allocation of 5 million lei for the reconstruction of the office of the People's Advocate at st.
