According to data from the National Bank of Moldova, maib received the largest profit from exchange rate differences in the first month of 2024: 55.34 million lei against 35.41 million lei for the same period a year earlier. OTP Bank took 2nd place, receiving in January 2024 income from exchange rate differences in the amount of over 31.64 million lei, while for the same period a year earlier this figure was 30.23 million lei. 3rd place was taken by Victoriabank, whose similar income in January 2024 amounted to 29.54 million lei against 15.95 million lei in January 2023.
