The National Bank of Moldova (NBM) reported this while providing an assessment of the financial situation in the banking sector over 6 months of this year. As noted, the increase in own funds was mainly due to the reflection by banks of profits after the general meetings of shareholders and after obtaining the NBM permission to include profits for 2021 in own funds.
