As noted in the message of the bank, Mobiasbanca - OTP Group was renamed into OTP Bank by the decision of the general meeting of shareholders of the bank on May 13, which came into force on June 17. The bank informed about the validity of the current name of Mobiasbanca - OTP Group for documents, forms, applications, contracts issued earlier by the bank until a later date, which will be announced additionally. The owner of Mobiasbanca - OTP Group is the Hungarian OTP Bank Nyrt, which owns 98.26% of the bank's shares. Mobiasbanca - OTP Group ranks 4th (out of 11) among the largest banks in Moldova in terms of total assets. According to the National Bank of Moldova, in 2020 the net profit of Mobiasbanca - OTP Group amounted to 144.83 million lei against 246.84 million lei a year earlier. This is the 4th result among banks operating in the country after Moldova-Agroindbank - 646.2 million lei, Moldindconbank - 432.2 million lei and Victoriabank - 261.75 million lei. At the annual general meeting, the shareholders of Mobiasbanca - OTP Group decided to allocate more than 97.59 million lei for the payment of dividends, the amount of dividends amounting to 9.7648 lei per share. At the same time, more than 88.05 million lei will be paid to shareholders of Mobiasbanca - OTP Group in the form of dividends from the bank's net profit received at the end of 2019, and over 9.54 million lei - from the bank's net profit received at the end of 2020.
