According to the NBM, the corresponding total receipts to Banca de Economii at the end of 2020 amounted to 1 billion 664.61 million lei, Banca Socială - 768.77 million lei, Unibank - 167.5 million lei. At the same time, in particular, in the IV quarter of 2020, liquidators received about 46.52 million lei, including 28.91 million lei in Banca de Economii, 16.5 million lei - in Banca Sociala, 1.11 million lei - in Unibank. According to the NBM, in general, since the revocation of licenses and as of the end of 2020, the proceeds of the three named banks from the payment (repayment) of loans and the sale of pledges amounted to 1 billion 130.48 million lei, including such proceeds of Banca de Economii amounted to 376.87 million lei, Banca Socială - 622.49 million lei, Unibank - 131.12 million lei. At the same time, in general, they received about 20.54 million lei in the IV quarter of 2020, in particular, the corresponding receipts of Banca de Economii amounted to 6.69 million lei, Banca Socială - 13.27 million lei, Unibank - 0.58 million lei. At the same time, their total proceeds from the sale of own assets at the end of 2020 amounted to 334.97 million lei, while Banca de Economii’s such proceeds amounted to 211.59 million lei, Banca Socială - 104.74 million lei, Unibank - 18.65 million lei. In particular, in the IV quarter of 2020, these receipts from three banks amounted to 2.94 million lei, including from Banca de Economii - 1.23 million lei, from Banca Socială - 1.7 million lei, and from Unibank - 7.3 thousand lei. As the NBM notes, the liquidators of the three banks continue to take legal measures related to the reimbursement of loans. Thus, liquidators cooperate with investigative and judicial authorities, take organizational measures to sell assets owned by banks, and also continue to work with debtors with the ultimate goal of repaying loans and paying emergency loans issued by the NBM. In general, there are 63 lawsuits in the courts regarding about 4.15 billion lei. More than 4.38 billion lei should be reimbursed to banks by debtors in the process of insolvency. There have also been registered 54 criminal cases in the custody of the criminal prosecution, regarding 50.02 billion lei.
