In particular, the National Bank of Moldova set the official exchange rate on December 7 at 21.0487 MDL per 1 EUR, which is 9 bani (0.4%) more than the official rate for December 4-6 - 20.9577 MDL per 1 EUR. For comparison, as of December 7 of last year, the exchange rate was 19.3855 MDL per 1 EUR, which is 8.6% lower than on the same day in 2020. It should be noted that the last time the official rate above 21 MDL per 1 EUR was set at 25 September 2017, when it was 21.1318 MDL per 1 EUR.
