
Moldovan banks’ net profit in January-October 2020 amounted to 1 billion 394.4 million lei, having decreased by 28.7%, compared to the same period in 2019 (1 billion 956.9 million).
According to the National Bank of Moldova, all 11 banks registered profit for 10 months of 2020. At the same time, about 1 billion 233.5 million lei (88.4% of the total net profit) accounted for four banks: Moldova-Agroindbank, Moldindconbank, Mobiasbanca - OTP Group and Victoriabank, and about 160.9 million lei of net profit accounted for the 7 remaining banks. At the same time, all 11 banks have decreased profits relative to the same period of 2019. As follows from the data provided by the National Bank, in particular, in January-October 2020, the largest net profit was received by: Moldova-Agroindbank - 548.5 million lei (in January-October 2019 - 636.06 million lei), Moldindconbank - 349.99 million lei (547.03 million), Victoriabank - 220.52 million lei (268.9 million) and Mobiasbanca - OTP Group - 114.52 million lei (221.27 million).
