The National Bank of Moldova (NBM) reported that, as of the end of September 2020, loans in national currency amounted to 30 billion 406.9 million lei, out of the total amount of loans reaching 43 billion 504.9 million lei. Thus, about 69.9% of the total amount of loans issued by banks of Moldova as of the end of September 2020 was MDL loans against 70.1% a month earlier. EUR loans in terms of MDL amounted to 10 billion 206.6 million lei (23.5% of the total amount against 23.4% a month earlier). At the same time, USD loans in terms of lei as of the end of September 2020 amounted to 2 billion 891.4 million lei. Their share in the total volume, compared to the previous month, increased from 6.5% to 6.6%. Loans in other currencies were extremely insignificant. According to the NBM, the largest amount of MDL loans as of the end of September 2020 was issued by the following banks: Moldova-Agroindbank - 9.82 billion lei (a month earlier - 9.53 billion), Moldindconbank - 6 billion lei (5.98 billion), Mobiasbanca OTP Group - 5.18 billion lei (5.13 billion), Victoriabank - 3.34 billion lei (3.26 billion), ProCredit Bank - 1.75 billion lei (1.75 billion), FinComBank - 1.21 billion lei (1.23 billion). USD loans (in MDL equivalent) as of the end of September this year were the most issued: Moldova-Agroindbank - 1.15 billion lei (a month earlier - 1.09 billion), Moldindconbank - 596.7 million lei (605.4 million), Mobiasbanca OTP Group - 406.3 million lei (397.8 million), Victoriabank - 231.1 million lei (225.5 million), ProCredit Bank - 203.2 million lei (175.3 million). The largest amounts of EUR loans (in MDL terms) as of the end of September 2020 accounted for Moldova-Agroindbank - 3.84 billion lei (a month earlier - 3.77 billion), Mobiasbanca OTP Group - 1.61 billion lei (1.58 billion), Moldindconbank - 1.28 billion lei (1.25 billion), ProCredit Bank - 1.06 billion lei (1.02 billion), Victoriabank - 997.9 million lei ( 994.2 million). // 24.11.2020 - InfoMarket.
