The trade deficit with CIS countries decreased by 3.2% to $101.3 million, while the trade deficit with other countries increased by 13.2% to $3 billion 681.7 million. According to the BNS, Moldova's largest trade deficit in 2025 was in trade with China - $1 billion 477.5 million (+19.1% compared to 2024).
