Moldova and the World Bank will expand cooperation to implement strategic reforms and projects for economic development
This was discussed during a meeting between Finance Minister Andrian Gavrilita and a World Bank delegation led by Robert Saum, Director for Eastern Europe. According to the Ministry of Finance, the parties discussed current cooperation projects and priorities for future support in line with the Ministry of Finance's agenda. The discussions focused on strengthening the partnership with an emphasis on supporting digitalization programs, modernizing customs and tax services, increasing the transparency and efficiency of information systems, and identifying priorities for current projects. Support for local authorities and the business environment, including through the MGrow initiative, was also discussed, and the importance of close cooperation for the implementation of strategic reforms and projects in the interests of economic development was emphasized.
