According to the parliament's press service, the allocation of these funds is provided for in a grant agreement, the signing of which has been approved by the Foreign Policy Committee. This involves the conclusion of a grant agreement between Moldova, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the International Development Association, which acts as the administrator of the Multi-Donor Trust Fund for the “Moldova - Growth, Resilience, and Opportunities for Well Being (M-Grow)” program, to provide additional funding for the Project to Improve the Competitiveness of Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises. The $350,000 grant is intended for the development of the “Register of Movable Property Pledges” information system. The project will be implemented by the Ministry of Justice and included in the list of commitments of Moldova's National Program for Accession to the European Union for 2025-2029. According to the authors, the conclusion and ratification of the agreement on the provision of the aforementioned grant will contribute to reducing the bureaucratic burden on the business environment through the digitization of public services, expanding access to financing, and increasing the competitiveness of local companies in foreign markets. The initiative will also contribute to the prevention and effective management of crisis situations. Currently, about 75% of public services provided to the business environment are digitized. In particular, 307 of 408 services intended for the business environment are available in digital format. The number of institutions providing services in digital format has reached 21 out of 52 supplier organizations. After signing, the agreement will be submitted to parliament for ratification. // 11.02.2026 — InfoMarket.
