Companies will be able to receive grants under the BRIDGE Missions-2026 program to participate in exhibitions, forums, business missions, B2B meetings, and other international events
The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization has prepared a draft regulation on providing support for the internationalization of companies under the BRIDGE Missions program. It is designed for 2026-2028 and aims to promote the entry of Moldovan small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as industry associations, into foreign markets and expand export opportunities. Support will be provided in the form of de minimis aid through the Investment Agency, which will compensate for part of the companies' expenses for participating in exhibitions, forums, business missions, and B2B meetings abroad. The maximum compensation will be up to €1,500 in the first year of participation, up to €1,000 in the second year, and up to €500 in the third year. The program is aimed at companies in priority sectors of the economy, including IT and startups, agriculture, wine production, tourism, creative industries, light industry, green economy, medicine and pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and perfumery. The total indicative budget of the program, financed from the state budget, is 1 million lei, with the possibility of attracting funds from development partners and donors. Funding has already been allocated from the state budget for 2026, including programme administration costs. Additional funding will be provided by development partners: the Innovate Moldova project (around €60,000) and EU4Innovation (around €100,000). The program is expected to have a positive impact on the business environment, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises, by facilitating their access to international business events, increasing their visibility in foreign markets, and developing sustainable trade partnerships. Indirectly, the program will contribute to job creation and retention, the development of professional skills among employees, and a reduction in labor migration, supporting export-oriented economic growth. Consultations on the project are being held until February 16: https://shorturl.at/ukBJT. // 10.02.2026 – InfoMarket.
