As announced by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, thanks to the ongoing efforts of the e-Governance Agency and close cooperation with service providers, 70% of public services for companies are now available online. In particular, out of 407 public services intended for entrepreneurs and businesspeople, 284 are already available in digital format, which avoids unnecessary trips to government agencies and simplifies interaction with government bodies. As emphasized by the Ministry, the goal set in Moldova's Development Plan for 2025-2027, namely the digitization of 75% of G2B (Government to Business) services by the end of 2025, is close to being achieved. “Only 22 services (approximately 5%) remain to be digitized, and each step forward brings us closer to the vision of a 100% digital, business-friendly, and efficient state,” noted the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization. As emphasized by the Ministry, in the last three months alone, in cooperation with supplier organizations, the e-Governance Agency has digitized 30 new services, offering entrepreneurs modern solutions that simplify their interaction with the state. These services can be accessed quickly from anywhere in the world via the EVO app or the servicii.gov.md portal: 13 services for entrepreneurs provided by the National Agency for Food Safety; 5 services for companies in the geological sector developed by the Agency for Geology and Mineral Resources; 2 services for the legal sector, in collaboration with the Agency for Digitalisation in Justice and Court Administration; 4 services for agriculture, provided by the Intehagro State Inspectorate for Technical Supervision; 2 services for companies in the energy sector, through the National Center for Sustainable Energy; 1 service for water transport operators from the Naval Transport Agency; 1 service for the media, through the Audiovisual Council; 1 service in the field of metrology, provided by the National Institute of Metrology; 1 service for the cultural sector, through the Ministry of Culture. Currently, 15 state institutions offer their services entirely online, providing fast and secure access for companies and entrepreneurs: Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization; Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development; General Inspectorate of Border Police; Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture; Agency for Environmental Protection; Agency for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre; National Archives Agency; ANRCITI; National Agency for Energy Regulation; National Food Safety Agency; Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Audiovisual Council; National Center for Sustainable Energy; National Health Assessment and Accreditation Council; Public Audit Oversight Council. Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Doina Nistor noted that the digitalization of public services is not just a technological step, but a profound change in the relationship between the state and the business environment. According to her, every service available online saves time for entrepreneurs and money for companies, time that can be invested in business development rather than bureaucracy, and resources that can be directed towards innovation and growth. “Our goal is clear: to build a state that supports and accelerates private initiative by offering simple, fast, and predictable solutions, as is the case in developed European economies,” Doina Nistor emphasized. In turn, Nicoleta Colomeet, Director of the E-Governance Agency, pointed out that entrepreneurs save time and the state gains trust, with 70% of G2B services already available online. According to her, this involves specific solutions: from making appointments and obtaining permits to submitting and receiving documents in digital format, which means the complete digitization of these interactions. “By the end of this year, we will achieve our goal of 75% digital services, and then move on to the next level of transformation: integrating new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to build not only a digital but also an intelligent state that responds quickly and proactively to the needs of citizens and the business environment,” Nicoleta Colomeet emphasized. All digital services have been implemented through the PDSE and GEAP platforms, ensuring fast and secure online processes. At the same time, institutions that are not yet able to offer fully digital services will be connected to the programări.gov.md system, which will allow forms to be filled out and operations to be managed in digital format. Thus, the Agency for Electronic Governance and the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization continue to develop and expand the portfolio of digital services for the business environment, making interaction between entrepreneurs and public authorities increasingly efficient, fast, and convenient. // 03.10.2025 – InfoMarket.
