Moldova and Greece signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in stimulating economic growth and accelerating reforms

This was reported by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, noting that this is about strengthening bilateral cooperation within the framework of the EU Growth Plan for Moldova. The document was signed by the Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization of Moldova Doina Nistor and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece Theoharis Theoharis. The memorandum lays the foundation for practical cooperation aimed at: strengthening the institutional and administrative capacity of Moldova to implement the EU Growth Plan; using Greece's experience in developing, preparing and managing projects through the Growth Fund (Project Preparation Facility); expanding Moldova's capacity to attract European funding and implement priority economic development projects. Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Doina Nistor noted that the signed agreement marks a new stage in relations between Moldova and Greece and economic support in the implementation of the EU Growth Plan. According to her, using Greece's experience in preparing and implementing large investment projects, Moldova will be able to accelerate reforms, attract more European funding and bring tangible benefits to citizens and the business environment. "Together with our European partners, we are building a stronger, more competitive economy and moving closer to the European Union," Doina Nistor said.
