According to the government press service, the dialogue discussed country modernization projects implemented in Moldova with the support of the World Bank and priority economic reforms. "Projects financed by the World Bank, especially in the energy sector, contribute to strengthening the security of Moldova and our region," Dorin Recean said. The Prime Minister named as priorities increasing productivity and increasing investor confidence in the Moldovan economy, continuing the digital transformation process, strengthening the financial sector, and stimulating the construction sector. Asad Alam expressed the World Bank's readiness to continue to assist Moldova in promoting economic growth, implementing the government's development program and moving towards joining the European Union. Currently, 15 World Bank projects are being implemented in Moldova.
