
In Moldova, entrepreneurs can apply for electricity compensation starting February 3
As reported by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization and the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), in particular, the government will compensate 50% of the increase in electricity tariffs for 3 months (January-March) to producers and processors of agricultural products, manufacturing enterprises that are directly involved in the production process. To be eligible for compensation, their electricity costs must amount to at least 3% of the company's revenue in 2024. The application is filled out online, in the EVO application or on the MCabinet portal, where a new module is available - "Compensation". It's also possible to track the status of applications there: from submission to approval and payment. Information required to submit a request: invoice number from the supplier and NLC; series, number and date of the invoice, if there is no NLC and electricity consumption has been recalculated; the amount of electricity consumed.
