Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean will submit proposals for policy and government changes in the next 10 days
He said this at the beginning of a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday. Dorin Recean said that both the citizens who voted for President Maia Sandu in the presidential elections and those who voted for her opponent have very clearly stated that the authorities should make certain changes in the policy, in the government. “In the next 10 days, I will make these proposals for changes,” Dorin Recean said. At the same time, he expressed gratitude to all citizens who took part in the presidential elections, noting that it was an extraordinary mobilization. “I’m thankful to those who are in Moldova and those who still live abroad, our citizens everywhere, both at home and abroad, for mobilizing so well to vote. I want to thank Moldovan citizens who still live abroad for mobilizing. This means that they, at least some of them, are waiting to come home, and that is very important. Even if now there are some attempts to divide us into those who live here and those who live abroad, we are all one people, we are all one country. I’m thankful to the almost one million people who voted for President Sandu for confirming our development plan in the big European family and for a leader who is able to achieve this goal. I am also grateful to those who voted for Stoianoglo's opponent for drawing the government's attention to the problems and needs they have,” Dorin Recean said. // 06.11.2024 - InfoMarket
