Prime Minister made the statement while speaking at the Moldova DevCon 2024 conference, a regional event that brings together engineers, experts and leaders in the IT sector. Prime Minister emphasized the potential of developing digital products in Moldova, noting that the IT sector remains attractive for young people. At the same time, Dorin Recean emphasized the importance of the IT Park - its activity has been extended until 2035, and the flat tax of 7% has been maintained. “We will continue to provide as much predictability and clear prospects as possible for those who work and invest in information technology. We will develop the digital infrastructure and maintain a comfortable legal and tax framework for the technological sector to flourish in Moldova,” Prime Minister said. Presentations and practical trainings within the event were devoted to such topics as the integration of artificial intelligence solutions into data systems, development of mobile applications, cybersecurity and data protection, especially in the context of European norms. In addition, international companies presented job offers in the IT industry.
