The government approved a decision to this effect. This sum is 15 per cent more than the amount approved for the same purposes in 2023. In 2024, Moldova will have to pay membership fees in 59 international and regional organizations. They are divided into two categories: parliamentary organizations - 5 structures (8.1 million lei) and international organizations - 54 structures (48.3 million lei). In 2024, the largest amounts are planned to be spent on paying membership fees to the Council of Europe - 9.5 million lei (456.6 thousand euros), the CIS Parliamentary Assembly - 6.4 million lei ($341.2 thousand), the UN Development Program– 4.6 million lei ($243.6 thousand), to the UN – 4.5 million lei ($225 thousand), to the Danube Commission for the Convention on the Regime of Navigation on the Danube – 3.6 million euros (174.6 thousand euros), etc. // 03.04.2024 — InfoMarket
