The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported this, noting that in August last year annual inflation in Moldova amounted to 34.29%. At the same time, in August 2023, as compared to August last year, the average consumer prices for food products increased by 9.61%, for non-food products - by 5.49%, and for services rendered to the population - by 16.31%.
