According to the National Bank of Moldova, at the same time, France was the largest bilateral creditor of our country in 2022 with a share of 39.4% of the total debt, and Japan took the 2nd place with an indicator of 25.5% of the total debt. Poland closes the top three in this indicator with a share of 10.7% of the total volume of bilateral debt. In particular, at the end of 2022, Moldova's bilateral debt to France amounted to $79.78 million, while it appeared only this year. A year earlier, there was no such debt to this country. Herewith, bilateral debt to Japan in 2022 decreased by 0.4% - from $51.98 million (at the end of 2021) to $51.76 million (at the end of 2022), and increased to Poland by 44.3 times - from $0.49 million to $21.73 million. During the same period, the bilateral debt of the Republic of Moldova to Austria decreased by 16.6% - from $19.18 million to $15.99 million, and to Russia remained the same level - $ 14.5 million. Moldova's bilateral debt to the United States decreased by 24.1% - from $ 16.88 million to $ 12.81 million, to Germany - almost halved (by 45%) - from $ 9.26 million - to $ 5.09 million.
