Moldovan Parliament adopts in the second reading amendments to the Law on the State Budget for 2022, reducing its deficit by 2.65 billion lei - to 14.6 billion lei.
In particular, according to the document, the revenue side of the state budget for 2022 will be increased by 1.35 billion lei (+2.3%) - from 57 billion 971 million 321.6 thousand lei to 59 billion 321 million 321.6 thousand lei, the state budget spending will be reduced by 1.3 billion (-1.7%) - from 75 billion 216 million 321.6 thousand lei to 73 billion 916 million 321.6 thousand lei, and the state budget deficit this year will be eventually reduced by 2.65 billion lei (-15.4%) - from 17 billion 245 million to 14 billion 595 million lei. Finance Minister Dumitru Budianschi noted that the amendments to the law on state budget for 2022 were worked out to ensure the execution of decisions of the Commission for Emergencies, approved in September-October, which provide for allocation of funds to increase the authorized capital of Energocom. The total increase of the authorized capital of this state enterprise during the mentioned period amounted to more than 5.7 billion lei.
