From December 8, prices for electricity supplied to consumers by Premier Energy and Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord (FEE Nord) will decrease.
The Administrative Council of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER) considered at an extraordinary meeting on December 8 the requests submitted by both enterprises and approved the reduction of tariffs. According to the decision of NAER, for residential consumers of Premier Energy, whose electrical installations are connected to the low voltage distribution networks (0.4 kW), electricity prices are reduced from 5.91 to 4.62 lei/kWh (-21.8%), as asked the company. For similar consumers, FEE Nord reduced the tariff from 5.60 to 4.65 lei/kWh (-17%), while the company requested a reduction to 5.35 lei/kWh. At the same time, for the final consumers of Premier Energy, whose electrical installations are connected to the distribution power grids of high voltage (35; 110 kW), the tariff is reduced by 23.8% - from 5.41 to 4.12 lei / kWh, and for consumers, electrical installations of which are connected to medium voltage distribution networks (6; 10 kW) - by 23.2% - from 5.55 to 4.26 lei/kWh. For FEE Nord consumers, whose electrical installations are connected to medium voltage distribution networks (6; 10 kW), the tariff is reduced by 19.2% - from 4.95 to 4 lei/kWh, although the company requested a reduction to 4.69 lei/kWh. The prices for the supply of electricity at points of entry/exit to/from the transmission grids have also been reduced: for Premier Energy, the price at entry points has been reduced from 5.24 to 3.96 lei/kWh, and at points of exit from the transmission grids – from 5.28 to 4.1 lei/kWh, and FEE Nord requested to reduce these prices from 4.61 to 3.65 lei/kWh and, respectively, from 4.75 to 3.8 lei/kWh. The new regulated prices for the supply of electricity will begin to apply from December 8, in accordance with the order of the Commission for Emergency Situations. Recall, in connection with the reduction to $73.5 per MW / h of the purchase price of electricity after the conclusion by the Energocom of a contract with the Moldavskaya GRES, the commission ordered that suppliers send a request to NAER for tariff reductions, obliging the regulator to approve them as soon as possible. It is worth noting that this is the first price reduction for the supply of electricity for consumers of Premier Energy and FEE Nord. Since the beginning of the year, tariffs have been raised 5 times, the last of which was on December 2. // 08.12.2022 — InfoMarket
