Electricity tariffs for domestic consumers of Premier Energy and Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord (FEE Nord) have increased by 23.8% and 16.4%, respectively.
According to a decision of the National Energy Regulatory Agency's Management Board, the domestic consumers of Premier Energy, whose power installations are connected to low-voltage distribution power networks (0.4 kW), will face a 13.4% increase, from 4.77 to 5.91 lei/kWh, and those of FEE Nord - from 4.81 to 5.60 lei/kWh (+16.4%). At the same time, for Premier Energy end consumers whose electrical installations are connected to high voltage distribution networks (35; 110 kW) the tariff has increased by 22.1% - from 4.43 to 5.41 lei/kWh, and for consumers whose electrical installations are connected to medium voltage distribution networks (6; 10 kW) - by 29% - from 4.3 to 5.55 lei/kWh. For FEE Nord consumers, whose electrical installations are connected to medium-voltage distribution power networks (6; 10 kW), the tariff has increased by 17.8% - from 4.2 to 4.95 lei/kWh. The cost of electricity at the entry/exit points to/from the transmission grid has also increased: the tariff for electricity supply at the entry points to the transmission grid has increased from 4.13 to 5.24 lei/kWh, and at the exit points from the transmission grid from 4.28 to 5.38 lei/kWh, while FEE Nord requested increases in these tariffs from 3.87 to 4.61 lei/kWh and from 4.01 to 4.75 lei/kWh respectively. The increase in tariffs is due to the increase in prices for energy distribution services provided by Premier Energy Distribution and RED-Nord. It should be noted that in 2022, tariffs for electricity supplied to all categories of Premier Energy and FEE Nord consumers increased four times already (since April 1, June 10, October 14 and November 4). Thus, electricity rates have increased on average 3.8 times since the beginning of the year. //30.11.2022 - InfoMarket
