Premier Energy and FEE Nord are again asking for higher electricity tariffs.
Both companies' requests to raise tariffs have been registered with the National Energy Regulatory Agency ANRE). For domestic consumers of Premier Energy, whose electricity installations are connected to the low-voltage (0.4 kW) distribution power grids, it is proposed to increase the tariff from 4.77 to 6.38 lei/kWh (+33.8%), and for domestic consumers of FEE Nord - from 4.81 to 5.68 lei/kWh (+18.1%). At the same time, for Premier Energy consumers, whose electrical installations are connected to the high voltage distribution networks (35; 110 kW), the tariff may increase by 32.7% - from 4.43 to 5.88 lei/kWh, and for consumers whose electrical installations are connected to the medium voltage distribution networks (6; 10 kW) - by 40% - from 4.3 to 6.02 lei/kWh. For FEE Nord consumers, whose electrical installations are connected to medium-voltage distribution power grids (6; 10 kW), the tariff was proposed to be increased by 19.8% - from 4.2 to 5.03 lei/kWh. The companies also requested an increase in the cost of electricity at the entry/exit points to/from the transmission grid: Premier Energy's tariff for electricity supply at the entry/exit points to/from the transmission networks could increase from 4.13 to 5.72 lei/kWh at the entry points and from 4.28 to 5.86 lei/kWh at the exit points from the transmission networks, while FEE Nord requested increases in these tariffs from 3.87 to 4.68 lei/kWh and from 4.01 to 4.83 lei/kWh respectively. The companies explained the need for these increases by a significant increase in tariffs for energy distribution services provided by Premier Energy Distribution and RED-Nord. Also, the companies pointed to a decrease in electricity consumption in October-November (and further savings are forecasted due to tariff increases) and, accordingly, a decrease in electricity sales. The companies' request is to be considered by ANRE. It is worth noting that in 2022, tariffs for electricity supplied to all categories of Premier Energy and FEE Nord customers have already been raised four times (on April 1, June 10, October 14 and November 4). // 25.11.2022 - InfoMarket.
