Moldova for the first time imported natural gas through the reverse system, from West to East - Andrei Spinu.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, this has dispelled the myth that natural gas and electricity can come to Moldova only from Russia. He wrote on his social network page that on Wednesday, Energocom purchased 5.6 million cubic meters of natural gas, which were transferred through the Budnice delivery point in Slovakia, on the border with Ukraine. Deputy Premier said that these gas volumes will supplement the reserve stocks of gas, which Energocom is setting to provide Moldova with the needed gas this winter, and will contribute to consolidating Moldova's energy independence. Andrei Spinu voiced hope that due to solidarity and savings, the citizens will survive this winter well, and will come out of the cold season with their heads held high, stronger and energy independent. // 03.11.2022 - InfoMarket.
