The actual purchase price of gas for Moldova in October this year amounted to $1,026.36 per 1,000 cubic meters, and in November it is expected at $821.58.
This was announced by the Moldovagaz company, noting that in the regulated prices for the supply of natural gas effective from October 1, the purchase price is defined as the average annual price and included in the tariff at $926.94 per 1 thousand cubic meters (17906.35 lei). At the same time, the actual purchase price in October was $1,026.36 per 1,000 cubic meters, and in November it is expected at $821.58 per 1 thousand cubic meters. Moldovagaz also notes that the actual purchase price in August amounted to $1,458.92 per 1,000 cubic meters, in September - $ 1882.78 per 1 thousand cubic meters, while in approved regulated prices paid by the consumer from August 12, the purchase price was set at $ 899.08 per 1 thousand cubic meters. As a result, it did not cover the real price of natural gas purchases, which led to the accumulation of impressive negative tariff deviations only for August and September in the amount of 902.5 million lei. Herewith, the total amount of tariff deviations accumulated by Moldovagaz for January-September 2022 is 5 billion 095 million lei, which, according to the legislation, must be compensated through inclusion in the tariff. The structure of current regulated prices includes only a part of the accumulated tariff deviations in the amount of 1 billion 817 million lei (4590 lei per 1 thousand cubic meters). Thus, the actual prerequisites for the revision of tariffs for the end consumer against the backdrop of a decrease in purchase prices will appear after the full compensation of accumulated negative tariff deviations.// 31.10.2022 — InfoMarket
