Energocom will buy 5 million cubic meters of natural gas from Moldovagaz at a price of $1,882.78 per 1,000 cubic meters to replenish the reserves of "blue fuel"

The corresponding decision was made by the Commission for Emergency Situations as part of new measures to strengthen energy security. It was agreed that JSC "Energocom" will acquire on the basis of a framework contract EFET (European Federation of Energy Suppliers), and JSC "Moldovagaz" will ensure the supply and sale to JSC "Energocom" of 5 million cubic meters of natural gas, at a purchase price of $1,882.78 per 1,000 cubic meters. The storage of purchased natural gas will be provided by "Moldovatransgaz" LLC. Also, in conditions of high volatility of regional natural gas markets, JSC "Energocom" will be able to sell and buy natural gas through direct negotiations or through commodity exchanges in the markets of countries that are members of the Energy Community, at the best prices. In addition, by the decision of the CoES, 200 million lei will be allocated to increase the authorized capital of JSC "Energocom" by changing the balance of funds in the accounts of the state budget.// 15.09.2022 — InfoMarket
