In particular, such a tariff - 264 bani (excluding VAT) per 1 kWh will be valid for Premier Energy's end-users, whose electrical installations are connected to low voltage distribution networks (0.4 kV). The relevant decision was made by the National Agency for Energy Regulation at a meeting on Wednesday, and it will come into force after publication in the Monitorul oficial. At the same time, for Premier Energy consumers connected to medium voltage networks (6;10 kV), the tariff was increased by 23.7% - from 186 to 230 bani (excluding VAT) per 1 kWh, and for those connected to networks high voltage (35; 110 kV), by 24.9% - from 173 to 216 bani (excluding VAT) per 1 kWh. The increase in tariffs was due to an increase in the purchase price for electricity, a change in the exchange rate of the lei against the dollar, and so on. In particular, the weighted average purchase price of electricity from external suppliers and Moldavskaya GRES through Energocom JSC increased from 98 bani per kWh to 1.21-1.24 lei per kWh. NAER also changed the average annual value of the exchange rate for 2022, applying the average exchange rate of 18.36 lei per $1, which is the effective average value registered since the beginning of the current year. It also took into account the increase in the inflation forecast for 2022 from 6.9% to 21.9%, the increase in negative tariff deviations registered from January to May 2022, the amount of which in the case of Premier Energy amounted to 684 million lei. Herewith, Premier Energy proposed to increase the tariff for electricity supplied to the company's end consumers, whose electrical installations are connected to low voltage distribution networks (0.4 kV), by 24.9% - from 217 bani per 1 kWh to 271 bani ( excluding VAT). For Premier Energy consumers connected to medium voltage networks (6; 10 kV), it was proposed to increase it by 29.5% - from 186 to 240.8 bani, and for those connected to high voltage networks (35; 110 kV), by 31.9% - from 173 to 228.2 bani per 1 kWh. It should be noted that the last adjustment of electricity tariffs for end consumers in Moldova was made on April 1, 2022, and then, by the decision of NAER, electricity tariffs for residential consumers of Premier Energy increased by 43.7% - up to 2.17 lei per 1 kW / h without VAT. // 08.06.2022 — InfoMarket
